For an optimum connector polish, FIS recommends an three stage polish utilizing 5um, 1um and 0.3um lapping film. A choice of either
9"x6.5" or 9"x13" size may be used in the polishing process. During
the three step process the 5um and 1um , 9"x13" sheet will typically
yield up to 20 connectors with the 0.3um typically yielding 10 connectors. |
